Come and join ANU Thrive and ANU MakerSpace to do some craft and simple electronics!

Marie Reay Teaching Centre (Building 155), Ground Floor

ANU Thrive and ANU MakerSpace have teamed up for a workshop about sewing soft circuits. Combining embroidery and simple electronic, this means you can have embroidery that can light up!This workshop is for people who already know how to embroidery - maybe you&#x27;ve been to one of our previous embroidery workshops or you already have some skills. This workshop has very limited numbers. So if you can&#x27;t make it, please let us know so we can allow someone else to join in. This workshop is brought to you by ANU Thrive x Kambri at ANU as a part of the ACT Youth Week crafts and community week at ANU. This event is open to both ANU Students and the Canberra community.You will be provided with a piece of fabric (54cm x 22cm), an embroidery hoop and needle along with all the electronic bits and pieces. ANU Thrive will provide scissors, pencils, fabric markers, measuring tape and threaders, so you don’t need to bring a thing!
