Children will create their own mixed media pollinators in this creative workshop that explores, colour, pattern, and texture.

West Room, Orange Regional Gallery

Young artists will use reference images and their imagination to draw their chosen creatures before adding colour and detail using ink, crayon and collage.Ages 6+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Discover the power of pollinators this school holidays with a series of art-making and environmental education workshops presented by Orange Regional Gallery and Orange Regional Museum.Each session will include a visit to the Pollinators exhibition at Orange Regional Museum followed by a hands-on activity in the West Room, Orange Regional Gallery. Children will learn about the crucial role that pollinator’s play in sustaining biodiversity and human health while getting to know some of our local plants and pollinating animals. There will also be time to admire the giant ‘swarm’ of artworks created by hundreds of local school children.Pollinators is on show at Orange Regional Museum from 20 March – 9 May 2021. Entry is FREE.
