Our programs are offered at the Waverley Library, Margaret Whitlam Recreation Centre and the Bondi Pavilion and are facilitated by a combination of Waverley Council specialist staff, industry professionals and partnered providers.We offer a diverse program of activities ranging from sporting clinics, arts and crafts workshops, dance classes and science and technology programs, so there is sure to be something for all ages and interests.Holiday Programs are released each quarter. Join Artist and Scientist Laura Jade to dissect and draw a specimen!

Waverley Library

Slice up a specimen and draw its insides! Leonardo Da Vinci dissected over 30 body parts in his lifetime leaving behind beautiful and accurate anatomical drawings which we still use today. In this session, budding artists and scientists will get to dissect plant specimens and conduct a series of drawings to help understand how they work.
