Waverley Council provides a range of school holiday activities for children. Our programs are offered at the Waverley Library, Margaret Whitlam Recreation Centre and the Bondi Pavilion and are facilitated by a combination of Waverley Council specialist staff, industry professionals and partnered providers.We offer a diverse program of activities ranging from sporting clinics, arts and crafts workshops, dance classes and science and technology programs, so there is sure to be something for all ages and interests.Holiday Programs are released each quarter. Join Award Winning Artist Tannya Harricks to create contemporary works using collage, painting and drawing.

In the lead up to the 2021 Waverley Youth Art Prize – We are family, join award winning artist Tannya Harricks for a mixed media collage session. Students will meditate on ideas about family and belonging before moving onto canvas to learn how to create contemporary portraits through integrating drawing, collage and painting. Tannya Harricks is a highly regarded artist recently working in Children's book illustration.
