Can I bring younger or older siblings?

Accepted Answer

This event is for young adults aged 13-18 years and will not suit younger children. Younger children should book for the Junior Ranger program. However, parents are free to bring siblings to David Fleay Wildlife Park and relax in the cafe or grounds while this event is on.

Question 2

Does a parent/guardian have to be there the whole time?

Accepted Answer

A parent/guardian must sign in/out all kids under 16 years of age, and all participants must leave emergency contact details with staff.

Question 3

Who should I contact if I need advice before or on the day.

Accepted Answer

Before the day, please email admin@npaq.org.au with any queries you may have. On the day, please contact the Program Lead, Alina Crosbie, on  0478 081 487.

Question 4

What happens if the dates/time change.

Accepted Answer

NPAQ reserves the right to change dates/times in the event of weather conditions or other factors (often outside of our control). Should dates/times change, we will attempt to contact all booked attendees via email or phone details at the earliest opportunity to alert you to the change.

Question 5

What do I / my child need to bring?

Accepted Answer

All participants must wear sun safe clothing, hat and covered shoes suitable for bushwalking. They should carry a water bottle with them and bring a snack if required (a small backpack is sensible).  The event will proceed in wet weather, so please bring a rain  jacket if needed.
