Upon his release, he is assigned to a position in a woodworking factory in a small Polish town. There, as luck – or perhaps a God-given opportunity – would have it, a case of mistaken identity has him inadvertently assuming the role of the parish’s new clergyman. After a shaky start, Daniel and his unmistakably passionate but wholly unconventional approach to the pulpit becomes the spark needed to reunite the community, which has been torn apart by a recent tragedy.
