Located on Dharawal Country, Wollongong Art Gallery is one of the largest regional art museums in Australia.Entry is free and we are open Tuesday to Friday 10am – 5pm, and Saturday to Sunday 12pm – 4pm (excluding public holidays).We present an exciting range of exhibitions and activities that showcase the energy and creativity of the Illawarra region, as well as touring exhibitions of national and international significance. Our diverse and growing permanent Collection features important Australian, Aboriginal, Asian and contemporary art.We welcome everyone to visit the Gallery and explore our range of exhibitions, events, activities, and workshops designed for all ages and abilities.Wollongong Art Gallery is a service of Wollongong City Council.

🌼 Flower Power: Yayoi Kusama-Inspired Art Workshop for 5-8-year-oldsThursday 10 July 10am – 12pm $22 + booking fee Workshop teacher: Tammie Castles Step into a world of colour, pattern, and imagination! In this joyful workshop, young artists will explore the quirky world of Yayoi Kusama and her iconic flower paintings. Children will create their own bold, polka-dot-filled floral artworks using vibrant colours and playful designs—just like Kusama!This hands-on session is perfect for budding creatives who love to draw, paint, and express themselves through art.🎨 All materials provided🌸 No experience needed – just bring your creativity!👧🧒 Designed especially for ages 5–8Please note:<ul><li>At least 8 participants are required to run this workshop.</li><li>We will cancel the workshop by 1pm the day before if the minimum participants to proceed with the tour are not met. Participants will be contacted via email.</li><li>Tickets are non-transferrable. If you no longer need your ticket, please contact us to arrange a refund.</li></ul>
