An interactive workshop facilitated by Adrian Roles (AgTrak). Participants will learn how to get the most out of Precision Agriculture tools on their farm.This hands-on workshops will cover:· Is PA right for me? Review the fundamentals of PA· Identifying, quantifying and managing variable production constraints· Producer case studies (benefits and lessons learnt)· Tips and tricks for data management· Hands-on field exercise and simulationThis workshop is suitable for farmers in the early stages of their PA journey, although all are welcome.A second workshop will follow later in the year, with the timing and topics based on feedback from participants.Adrian Roles (AgTrak) Adrian is a mixed farmer from Young NSW, growing canola, winter cereals, pasture production and merino sheep. Adrian has implemented precision agriculture on his own farm, while also assisting other farmers, agriculture supply industry and agriculture technology providers.He has been involved with the supply and fitment of numerous precision agriculture related hardware and sensors. He has always endeavoured to ensure that there was practical use of precision agriculture equipment that resulted in a financial or agronomic gain to the farmer.Adrian has written and delivered training course in precision agriculture for government, agriculture colleges and private industry. He is still actively involved in learning about new technology and techniques of precision agriculture with the goal of developing inventive training programs that will result in adoption of precision agriculture by farmers.Morning tea and lunch provided
