Canberra Museum and Gallery (CMAG) serves a unique role as a place to experience the diverse history and contemporary culture of the Canberra region; and through this to gain a deeper understanding of Australian culture in its global setting.

Creative fun for creative kids in the April school holidays at CMAG

Canberra Museum & Gallery

The exhibition HABITAT: Ways of living explores how contemporary artists respond to the built environment and how individuals, families and communities make homes in these structures. After viewing the exhibition, children will create works of art that express what makes a house a home through an investigation of collage and sculptural materials and techniques in the CMAG studio. This workshop is suitable for children aged 6 to 12 years of age. Please bring your own snacks, lunch and drink. Workshop is fully supervised and all materials provided. There will be limited places and contact tracing for this event.$20 per child$15 members / concessionSupported by the Gordon Darling Foundation.In association with the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival.
