Excel - Using complex formulas - 3 hr Zoom Workshop

Create & edit, & build mathematical formulas using essential functions like AVERAGE, MEDIAN, MODE, COUNT, IF, & combination formulas.

3 hour Zoom workshop with an accredited trainer. Participants will be given a case study to complete.

Our trainer will show you how to:

• understanding BEDMAS & create equations applying the BEDMAS rule
• create, percentage equations
• create AVERAGE, MEDIAN, MODE & COUNT formulas
• use COUNTIF & SUMIF, MEDIAN & MODE & SUBTOTAL formulas
• use text formulas, such as LEFT, RIGHT, UPPER, LOWER, PROPER & CONCATENATE
• understand the difference between AVERAGE & AVERAGEA, & COUNT & COUNTA
• understand & use date/time formulas such as TODAY, NOW, DATEIF, DAY, MONTH, YEAR, WORKDAY, NETWORKDAYS
• understand rounding formulas, such as ROUND, ROUNDUP, ROUNDDOWN, CEILING, FLOOR
• learn to use IF formulas, including COUNTIFS & SUMIFS
• learn to use ISBLANK, ISNUMBER & ISTEXT formulas, & combining them with the IF formula
• learning to use AND or OR formulas & combining them with the IF formula

Venue: Your own location (participants will require a headset with microphone & two screens, or a combination of devices that will enable use of Zoom & Excel simultaneously)

Library Computer Lab (PC monitor / smartboard combination with headset). Select Computer Lab option when enrolling. NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS WORKSHOP.

Prerequisites : Participants must have a good understanding of Excel to intermediate level

Fees & Payment Options

Cost Centre Payment (Melbourne Health Staff only)- $200 excl. GST

• Cost Centre payments: A valid campus code & cost centre must be provided at time of registration. Your nominated cost centre will be charged at the close of registration.

Credit Card Payment - $215 (Includes booking fee . Does not include GST ). Hospital staff may be entitled to a reimbursement. Check with your supervisor or Finance department.

Cancellations/Refunds Policy:

Cost Centre Cancellations: Less than 7 days prior to the workshop date - 100% of the course fee is charged unless we fill your place.

Course transfers are not available. Course attendance can be transferred to another individual from the same cost centre provided we are informed ahead of the workshop.

Credit Card Cancellations & Refunds: Up to7 days prior to the workshop date - 100% of the workshop fee will be refunded, less Eventbrite booking fees.

Less than7 days prior to the workshop date - no refund unless we fill your place with another applicant.

Melbourne Health reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops without notice. In the event of a workshop cancellation, a full refund (less Eventbrite fees) will apply.
