Congratulations graduates! It’s time to celebrate.
We want you to be a part of the celebration
With COVID-19 restrictions still in place, we are unable to hold our normal graduation ceremonies in person, but it's still important to recognise and celebrate your achievements.
ANU will be hosting a first of its kind, hybrid Grand Graduation celebration event that will take place virtually via livestream and in-person in seven locations across Australia and internationally on Monday 8 February, 2-3pm AEST.
The main event will take place from Llewellyn Hall, Canberra and live cross to reception events happening simultaneously in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Shanghai and Beijing. We are also hoping to host an event in Singapore.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, numbers at in-person events are strictly limited so please register for one location only.
Perth Event details
The Perth reception will bring together graduating students and alumni and attendees will be able to mingle over a glass of champagne and canapés, while watching the event that is livestreamed from Llewellyn Hall.
During the event, you will hear from the Vice-Chancellor Professor Brian Schmidt, Chancellor The Hon Julie Bishop, and guest speaker and ANU Alumna Sophia Hamblin-Wang. You will also hear from graduating students in other locations as we live cross to reception events across Australia and in China.
Professional photo opportunities
Students will get the opportunity to have professional photos in full regalia on the day. These photo sessions need to be booked in advance. Reed Graduation Services will have a student portal open in January 2021 for students to book in their session. You will be contacted in January with more details on how to book your photography session.
Regalia hire and photo session will be provided at no charge. Students can choose to purchase copies of their photos if they wish.
Important information:
