The Health Sciences Library is based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, located in Parkville, Victoria.The Library offers onsite training in Microsoft Office programs, using accredited Microsoft trainers.Workshops are open to public hospital staff, clinical & research staff of affiliated institutions, & the public.

Organize &amp; present data with Excel. Learn how to enter, edit, &amp; format data, &amp; use basic formulas  in Excel. No prior experience needed.

RMH Health Sciences Library - Lab 2

3 hour Zoom workshop with an accredited trainer. Participants will be given a case study to complete. Our trainer will show you how to:<ul><li>create workbooks, navigate around a spreadsheet, &amp; use the Excel ribbon</li><li>select cells, enter data, &amp; apply a range of formatting options</li><li>use Excel's autofill functions</li><li>use basic formulas such as Autosum, Count, Min, Max &amp; Average to perform calculations</li><li>apply formatting to spreadsheets</li><li>apply headers &amp; footers</li><li>use preview &amp; printing functions</li></ul>Venue: Your own location (participants will require a headset with microphone &amp; two screens, or a combination of devices that will enable use of Zoom &amp; Excel simultaneously)Library Computer Lab (PC monitor / smartboard combination with headset). Select Computer Lab option when enrolling.Prerequisites : NoneFees &amp; Payment OptionsCost Centre Payment (Melbourne Health Staff only)- $200 excl. GST•	Cost Centre payments: A valid campus code &amp; cost centre must be provided at time of registration. Your nominated cost centre will be charged at the close of registration.Credit Card Payment - $215 (Includes booking fee. Does not include GST). Hospital staff may be entitled to a reimbursement. Check with your supervisor or Finance department.Cancellations/Refunds Policy:Cost Centre Cancellations: Less than 7 days prior to the workshop date - 100% of the course fee is charged unless we fill your place.Course transfers are not available. Course attendance can be transferred to another individual from the same cost centre provided we are informed ahead of the workshop.Credit Card Cancellations &amp; Refunds: Up to7 days prior to the workshop date - 100% of the workshop fee will be refunded, less Eventbrite booking fees.Less than7 days prior to the workshop date - no refund unless we fill your place with another applicant.Melbourne Health reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops without notice.
