The Health Sciences Library is based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, located in Parkville, Victoria.The Library offers onsite training in Microsoft Office programs, using accredited Microsoft trainers.Workshops are open to public hospital staff, clinical & research staff of affiliated institutions, & the public.

3 hour Zoom workshop with an accredited trainer. In this session participants will learn to:<ul><li>Understand &amp; apply complex relationships between tables</li><li>Export &amp; import tables to other programs</li><li>Understand complex components within table fields</li><li>Create complex queries, e.g. parameter queries</li><li>Create equations in a query</li><li>Customise forms &amp; reports</li><li>Create sub-forms in a main form</li><li>Create macros in the database</li></ul>Prerequisites : Participants must have a basic understanding of Excel &amp; Access.Venue: Your own location (participants will require a headset with microphone &amp; two screens, or a combination of devices that will enable use of Zoom &amp; Excel simultaneously &amp; allow communication with the trainer). NOTE: Access must be installed on your PC.Library Computer Lab (PC monitor / smartboard combination with headset). Select Computer Lab option when enrolling. NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS WORKSHOP.Fees &amp; Payment OptionsCost Centre Payment (Melbourne Health Staff only)- $200 excl. GST<ul><li>Cost Centre payments: A valid campus code &amp; cost centre must be provided at time of registration. Your nominated cost centre will be charged at the close of registration.</li></ul>Credit Card Payment - $215 (Includes booking fee. Does not include GST). Hospital staff may be entitled to a reimbursement. Check with your supervisor or Finance department.Cancellations/Refunds Policy:Cost Centre Cancellations: Less than 7 days prior to the workshop date - 100% of the course fee is charged unless we fill your place.Course transfers are not available. Course attendance can be transferred to another individual from the same cost centre provided we are informed ahead of the workshop.Credit Card Cancellations &amp; Refunds: Up to7 days prior to the workshop date - 100% of the workshop fee will be refunded, less Eventbrite booking fees.Less than7 days prior to the workshop date - no refund unless we fill your place with another applicant.Melbourne Health reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops without notice.
