Surf Coast Shire Early Years department provides a range of free education and support sessions for parents and carers in our community. Our aim is to support parents and carers to enhance their children's health, well being and development.

Infant mental health: attachment and bonding through song - with Lauren and Amy

Presented by our maternal and child health team, this session will explore the importance of caregiver attachment and bonding with your baby. The session will also include an interactive Parent Child Mother Goose activity, to teach you new songs and rhymes to sing to your baby. This is an online event. Zoom details will be emailed following registration. Lauren McDonnell is a paediatric occupational therapist. Amy Clemens is a midwife and maternal and child health nurse. Lauren and Amy are both members of the Surf Coast Shire Maternal and Child Health team.
