Emma, a former bookseller turned journalist, has made a mark with her reporting, contributing to WAtoday, The Age, and the Sydney Morning Herald. Her debut novel, The Last Bookshop, earned a spot on the shortlist for the prestigious Fogarty Literary Award in 2019.Brooke Dunnell, a gifted writer and mentor, will also share her journey. Her short fiction, featured in Female(s and) Dogs, garnered recognition as a finalist for the 2020 Carmel Bird Digital Literary Award. Her manuscript, The Glass House, won the 2021 Fogarty Literary Award, and she holds a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Western Australia.Don’t miss this engaging discussion as they talk about their writing processes, literary achievements, and the craft of storytelling.Bookings are essential.
