The annual Northern Territory Literary Awards have celebrated the work of Northern Territory's established and emerging writers for more than 35 years. The Literary Awards acknowledge works of outstanding literary merit and reward the achievements of Northern Territory writers across seven categories including: Theatre, Non Fiction, Essay, Flash Fiction, Poetry, Youth and Short Story. Special thanks goes to the Awards’ sponsors and supporters; Charles Darwin University, NT Writers’ Centre, Zip Print, Brown’s Mart Theatre and Kath Manzie Estate. The 2020 NT Literary Award finalists are listed at: <a href="https://ntl.nt.gov.au/announcement/2020-northern-territory-literary-awards-finalists-announced" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ntl.nt.gov.au</a>Everyone is invited to attend the ceremony in person at Parliament House, or via our livestream event at Araluen Arts Centre, or on Facebook. Places are limited and bookings are essential for these events.The Awards Ceremony Live Stream event will commence at 5:30pm ACST from our Parliament House location. COVID 19 protocols and social distancing measures are in place at both Parliament House and at Witchetty’s, Araluen Arts Centre.
