Please Note: Our café is currently closed for refurbishment. While this is exciting news, it does mean that very limited food options are available at the park during the construction period. Therefore, please prepare in advance.... why not bring your own picnic basket to enjoy in one of our grassed areas? Cold drinks and a small range of snack products will be available from the Admissions counter. Visitors will be able to enjoy the new facilities later in June, including an exciting new events space ... so put Fleays on your list as a great venue for those family celebrations (weddings, birthdays)!Nestled in the heart of Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, David Fleay's is the place to meet the unique resident wildlife that call Queensland's most iconic natural habitats home.Wander along a network of boardwalks and paths, winding through tranquil wetlands, rainforest and open eucalypt forest in search of koalas, cassowaries, dingos, crocodiles and more. Visit the Nocturnal house to get up close with some of Australia’s rarely seen creatures of the night, such as squirrel gliders, greater bilbies and fat tailed dunnarts. Be entertained by Wally, our playful platypus, at the only platypus display on the Gold Coast. Explore the park at your own pace or join a dedicated Park Ranger at one of the wildlife encounters.Book your ticket now!<h3>During your visit</h3>You'll notice some changes. The safety of our visitors, staff and wildlife is our top priority and we have put additional measures in place. Social distancing continues across the Park, enhanced cleaning is in place and cashless payments are encouraged. Remember, if you’re feeling unwell or displaying flu like symptoms, please rest up at home and visit when you’re completely well. <h3>Information for Annual Pass Members</h3>As we have visitor number restrictions during COVID, please book online your annual pass visit. Your 8-digit membership barcode number is required when booking for verification purposes. <h3>Booking conditions</h3><ul><li>Your ticket is valid for the day selected—9:00am - 4:00pm. (except ANZAC DAY) </li><li>No cancellations or refunds are available, however transfers to another date are available on request.</li><li>No need to print your ticket, as your online booking will be on our visitor list.</li><li>Purchasing a Concession ticket?
