Sarah Norton is a multi disciplinary artist who draws inspiration from the dance between our differences and our similarities, our need for both and our resistance to each. Making and creatingA born experimenter, Sarah has married a professional consultancy life and that of the artists.                                      For over twenty years she has been a teacher of artist and designers with UNSW COFA and Enmore Design Centre and some and coach as creative juices are developed forTravelled extensively throughout south east Asia, India, Africa and has lived in Tanzania and Budapest and is currently working from Sydney, Australia.Sarah is an accomplished photographer specialising in portraiture and seascape.

This class is all about exploration and play, not perfection. You will learn how to connect with nature, your stories and your creativity. You will leave with your very own sculptural basket creation.You will learn the ancient basketry technique of Random Weaving which has been used since the beginning of time. You&#x27;ll transform ordinary found objects from nature into something extraordinary. Using the natural fibre of Bangalow Palm inflorescence you will weave a sculptural form and by the end of the experience, you will have not only a sculptural piece and a deeper understanding of the wonderful art of weaving but most deliciously, an exploration of your own creativity.All materials will be supplied for you to simply come and play.
