Join the APCO team for our weekly Community Webinars to explore the sustainability topics that matter most to our network.

This week we are delighted to unveil APCO’s new Priority Projects schedule. In FY21 APCO will be facilitating 21 new projects which have been developed to drive targeted and tangible progress on Australia’s 2025 National Packaging Targets. The program was developed in consultation with, and will be overseen by, APCO’s 2020 Working Groups – a community of more than 160 participants, representing the entire packaging supply chain.

Topics for discussion include:

  • An overview of this year’s priority projects, which include action plans for problematic and unnecessary, single-use plastic packaging, traceability of recycled content, strategies to increase reuse models, designing for recyclability and consumer education.
  • How the priority projects connect to Our Packaging Future – the strategic framework for how Australia will deliver the 2025 Targets that APCO (launched March 2020).
  • Insights for how your organisation can contribute to and participate in this work – and learnings on how you can progress your own organisation’s journey to delivering the 2025 Targets.

Zoom details will be circulated to your registered email address one hour prior to the webinar start time. If you are new to Zoom please check out our cheat sheet here.

Please note this webinar will take place between 2:00pm - 3:00pm AEST.

The Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) is a not-for-profit organisation leading the development of a circular economy for packaging in Australia.

Our vision is a packaging value chain that collaborates to keep packaging materials out of landfill and retains the maximum value of the materials, energy and labour within the local economy.

APCO events provide opportunities to network, learn and engage with like-minded industry professionals collectively working towards achieving the National Packaging Targets.
