Venky is an experienced enterprise Agile coach, trainer, author and a speaker.He is the first and the only Australian Certified LeSS trainerand also, one of the very few globally. He had the opportunity to work closely with Craig Larman during the initial days of doing hundreds of experiments that lead to the birth of LeSS.Equipped with the in-depth knowledge of the intricacies and the WHYs behind the LeSS framework, one would get to hear the first-hand experiences of applying LeSS in various product development environments.Venky has been personally mentored by both Craig Larman and Bas Vodde(Creators of LeSS) and certified by them.

2 Days : 9 AM - 12 PM 20th and 21st JuneLearning objectives:The following topics will be covered in the Certified LeSS Basics course:* Introduction to LeSS (Why LeSS?)* LeSS - as Scrum-based approach on scaling * How does LeSS scale over ~8 teams? * Dynamics of component teams vs. feature teams* Roles, Events, Artefacts * What is basic Scrum and what is specific to LeSS? * Why there is one and only real PO and not so-called team POs? * Why ScrumMaster in LeSS is a full-time role?* The complete diagram of LeSS: principles, rules, guides, and experiments * Impact of LeSS on organizational design (structures, policies) * Local Optimization vs. Global Optimization* LeSS vs. LeSS HugeIn the end, you should be able to articulate:* Articulate why LeSS* Explain how LeSS is a Scrum-based approach on scaling* Summarise what impact this has on the organisational design (structures, policies, etc.)* Explain the dynamics of component teams vs. feature teams* Explain all LeSS roles and their purposes* Explain why there is one and only real PO and not so-called team POs* Explain the LeSS Complete diagram, organising LeSS information in terms of the principles, rules, guides, and experiments* Explain how LeSS scales over ~8 teams* Know the existence of and location of major learning resources at less.works,All participants will be receiving a Certified LeSS Basics certificate and an account on less.works. The LeSS Basics Certificate will not expire.Schedule and Duration :It is going be two days 3 hours each session, preferably on a Saturday and Sunday. Training MaterialsAt the end of the course, you would receive the soft copy of the training material, reading lists and any other things that we might have discussed during the course.
