This masterclass offers something different—a chance to watch a live beauty shoot with esteemed fashion photographer Lucius Yin, whose clients include, Fashion brands SHEIN Australia, Orange Campari, Campari and more. You’ll see firsthand how makeup translates through the camera, with proper lighting and professional photography. Learn how to break down a brief, select the right products, and understand how a studio shoot works. Lucius’ work has been featured in PhotoVogue, Elegant Magazine and Rebel Magazine.You’ll have the chance to ask questions and gain invaluable tips on working with photographers and breaking into the industry. This masterclass will give you the tools and confidence to excel in beauty photography!

<h4>WHAT TO EXPECT</h4>The Beauty Masterclass is designed to give makeup artists and graduates a real-world, hands-on experience in beauty photography. The day begins with introductions, followed by an informative live makeup demonstration. You’ll start by learning how to translate a make up brief into a stunning makeup look, and then observe a live demo discussing the selection of the right makeup products, application techniques, and placement. We’ll emphasise the importance of symmetry and blending as well as how to collaborate with professional models and clients. You’ll then watch a live beauty photoshoot , where you'll learn how to work seamlessly with the photographer and the entire on-set team. Understand your role as a makeup artist—when to step in, what to look for, and how to assist the photographer and other creatives to ensure the best outcome for the shoot and your makeup! Throughout the day, you’ll gain insight into the professional studio workflow and have the chance to ask questions. You’ll receive expert guidance on breaking into the beauty industry, and all participants will have an all-access pass to a video recording of the masterclass to review the content at any time.
