For over 30 years, Quantum has been providing products and services to people with a print disability (low vision, blindness or a learning difficulty). Quantum was the founding sponsor of the Macular Disease Foundation and we are an approved supplier to the Department of Veterans Affairs and the NDIS. We also collaborate closely with eye care professionals (ophthalmology and optometry practices) and vision support agencies such as Vision Australia, Guide Dogs, and the Royal Society for the Blind.

Improving accessibility in the workplace can help remove barriers and provide equitable opportunities for people with disability.

<h3>JobAccess is the national hub for workplace and employment information for people with disability, employers and service providers and provides advice and support to help people with disability.</h3><h3>JobAccess works with a national panel of assessors to conduct free workplace assessments and advice on workplace modifications and support. Such modifications may be eligible for reimbursement through the Australian Government’s Employment Assistance Fund (EAF).</h3><h3>In this webinar, JobAccess Client Support Manager for Workplace Modifications and Training, Camille Greenwell provides an overview on:</h3><h3>•	Workplace adjustments to improve accessibility</h3><h3>•	Financial assistance available through the EAF to cover the costs of workplace adjustments</h3><h3>•	Applying for workplace adjustments or modifications through JobAccess.</h3><h3>Also presenting is Lauren Farrell, an Occupational Therapist from Indigo.</h3><h3>Indigo support people through an assistive technology information and advice service. Indigo works with suppliers to trial different options in one location.</h3><h3>Lauren Farrell from Indigo will outline their services.</h3><h3>Greg Madson from Vision Australia will share his tips and tricks for working from home as someone who is blind. </h3><h3>Trevor Boyd and Rob Drummond from Quantum RLV will then present and demonstrate the latest assistive technology products. Including the Ground-breaking technology like OrCam MyEye (portable artificial vision device) and the Acesight (virtual reality device) that are used in the workplace.</h3><h3>The webinar will run for up to one hour, including time for any participants to ask questions.</h3><h3>The webinar will be recorded and will be available on our website to access at a later time.</h3><h3></h3><h3><strong>Presenters</strong></h3><h3>Greg Madson - Vision Australia WA</h3><h3>Greg is a Access Technology Specialist. Working face to face with clients and also on the Vision Australia Access Technology Helpdisk. He also runs his own small business designing, creating  and maintaining accessible websites.</h3><h3>Lauren Farrell – Indigo (Formerly Independent Living Centre)Lauren has enjoyed working as an Occupational Therapist for over 10 years and has been part of the Indigo Assistive Technology team for 8 years. Over this time, Lauren has followed her interest in emerging technologies and explored how these can be used to increase access for those with different abilities. </h3><h3>As Project Manager, Lauren has explored environmental control and access options and worked with people to use devices that they previously couldn’t access.</h3><h3> JobAccess</h3><h3>Camille Greenwell - Client Support Manager, Workplace Modifications and Training – Job Access</h3><h3>Camille Greenwell is a psychologist with 28 years of experience supporting people with disability. She currently manages the Workplace Modifications and Training team at JobAccess that administers the Employment Assistance Fund (EAF) on behalf of the Australian Government. JobAccess is the national hub for workplace and employment information for people with disability, employers and service providers. The service makes a significant difference in the life of people with disability who are working or looking for work.</h3><h3>Before joining JobAccess, Camille worked in vocational rehabilitation as a psychologist for 16 years primarily dealing with stress in the workplace, bullying and harassment, mediation and vocational planning. She has extensive experience managing cases for major employer and insurer groups across diverse sectors including public sector agencies, banking, aviation and retail.</h3><h3>Camille is an accredited mediator with Resolution Institute and a member of the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC). She graduated from the University of Western Australia, having completed undergraduate studies in psychology and going on to secure a Masters in Organisation Psychology. </h3><h3></h3><h3>Rob Drummond - Quantum</h3><h3>Rob held retail and wholesale positions in the optical industry, after qualifying as an Optical Dispenser from Sydney Technical College in 1980. In 1981 he began working within the low vision sector for O.P.S.M. </h3><h3>His visual aid knowledge has developed from his experiences at the Royal Blind Society, Concord Rehabilitation Hospital and the Sydney Eye Hospital. He has also been on the teaching staff of the Guild of Dispensing Opticians. </h3><h3>After running his own optical business for 13 years in Perth, Rob returned to Sydney in 2004 to work for Quantum RLV. </h3><h3>Now a Senior Low Vision Consultant, Rob has gained a wealth of experience travelling around Australia and overseas to trade shows and exhibitions and has extensive training with designers and manufacturers of assistive technology products and services. </h3><h3>Trevor Boyd - Quantum</h3><h3>Trevor has a wealth of experience and understanding of the impact of vision impairment and the latest low vision and blindness assistive technology products and services available. He is also well respected for his experience with braille and braille embossers. </h3><h3>Trevor is often invited to speak at conferences and events throughout Australia. He works closely with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Macular Disease Foundation Australia, and collaborates with JobAccess on workplace modifications and adjustments. </h3><h3>He acts as an advisor to several Education Departments throughout Australia. Trevor is passionate about helping vision impaired people make an informed choice of assistive technology to empower their independence. </h3><h3></h3><h3></h3>
