Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN)

The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) offers an extensive range of services to support veterans and their families to live full and active lives. These are easy to access, mostly free or low cost for eligible veterans and their families.DVA services:<ul><li>enable veterans to stay independent at home </li><li>support veterans manage their chronic health conditions</li><li>can support veterans at home for a short time, during an illness or after a stay in hospital</li><li>give carers a break</li><li>can support veterans on an ongoing basis or as they transition permanently to an aged care home.</li></ul>About this webinarDepartment of Veterans’ Affairs and Older Persons Advocacy Network are hosting the second of eight free interactive educational webinars to inform health professionals, community workers, and veterans and their families about the services that are available. Webinar 2: Veterans' Home Care, will discuss options available for veterans to receive supports to continue living independently at home.By attending this webinar, you will learn:<ul><li>about the range of supports available through Veterans' Home Care</li><li>who is eligible for Veterans' Home Care</li><li>how to access Veterans' Home Care</li></ul>Please RSVP via the ‘Register’ button above.
