BIKESydney was formed in 2000 to lobby for improved conditions for bicycle users within the City of Sydney Local Government Area. BIKESydney’s efforts have resulted in the initiation in a new bike plan – this is the plan that is currently driving all the great work we’re seeing in the CoS LGA today. Cycling rates are now steadily on the rise in Sydney, and the organisation focuses on education, making government submissions and giving the bicycle community a strong public voice.

Short Communciations is a communications consultancy with a passion for sustainabilty in the built environment and in particular how we can have more bike-friendly cities in Australia.

The Australian Institute of Architects is the peak body for the architectural profession in Australia, representing 12,000 members. The Institute works to improve our built environment by promoting quality, responsible, sustainable design. The NSW Chapter undertakes advoacy and education and continuing professional development for members
