A very warm hello and thank you for joining us.

My team and I are based in Adelaide, South Australia. We are an organisation focusing on the happiness of midlife singles.

Our purpose is to reinvigorate, maybe even reinvent or rekindle the lives of midlife people who cross our path.

I am midlife myself, and when I was ready to date again, I went online but it was not what I had thought it was going be like. Actually, I probably didn't even know what it was all about and who I would meet or what I would find. It's fortunate I didn't have many expectations, because that first time was absolutley dismal! I look back now and laugh, but at the time it was really frustrating and almost felt dirty.

• Times have changed, as have dating apps. Some people may not have, but I steer clear of them and I only went on what I thought were quality sites, hoping to meet quality people. I had success, it made me happy (much happier!).

So, yes, fast forward and I have set to and buiilt an app for Midlife Singles to come home to. We have live chat rooms, private areas for deeper conversations and really, it is just like a big home with lots of rooms to switch into and out of when any of our members feel like it. There is on demand activities appropriate for midlife singles to take part in, or not. It's pretty casual inside Switchlife, yet if you need a little nudge, that kind of support is there too.

• Online dating doesn't come naturally to many midlife singles, and infact it is rather challenging for so many.

Before anyone ventures online though, it is our purpose again, to enlighten our members with what they bring to the singles party when they begin their on or offline journies. We help all midlife singles with love, dating, past baggage from past relationships, wealth creation, old and new habits, dating conversations and banter, matching (but done differently!), and many more tools. We are not adverse to some midlife fun too just btw!

Life building does not have to be too serious at our age, even with experience under our belts and after divorce, breakups or heartbreak - infact we make sure it is not too deep or dreary, we like you to move on, at your pace, but with much more fire in your belly!

I have always believed the universe will provide. As a teenager, I spent 12 months in Thailand on exchange. It wasn't long until I wanted more. Age 22, I left Australia again. Little did I know just how much this decade of seeing the world and meeting its people without a filter was preparing me for my future. I ended up living on 5 different continents, and I myself am midlife and have lived as a single more than once, been married and divorcred, lived in de facto relationships and am a single parent.

Yes, indeed the universe has been delivering! My own life messages are loud and clear. Community, love and life value alignment are some of the first ingredients for a good life. My children are becoming the masters of their lives with their own terms and conditions whilst learning from me and the world, I feel like I have completed a few life circles.
