Muresk Old Collegians Association Inc.
The Muresk Old Collegians’ Association Inc. (MOCA) was established in 1930. MOCA was created as an ‘alumni’ group of the Muresk Agricultural College, (formed in 1926), which later became the Muresk Institute of Agriculture, then a Branch of Curtin University and is now known as the Muresk Institute.
MOCA’s aim has always been to promote the development of agriculture in Australia by the interchange of ideas between the members of the Association, the agribusiness sector, the student body and the broader community.
MOCA, a not-for-profit organisation managed by volunteers, provides a forum for past and present Muresk students, graduates, staff and friends to keep in touch through reunions, seminars, lectures and events.
The MOCA of today promotes the value and opportunities of careers available globally within the sphere of agribusiness and food. Over the decades MOCA has provided awards and support to students studying agriculture and it’s supporting industries, and continues to do so.
Muresk will celebrate the 90 Anniversary of its establishment on Sunday 30 October 2016. This is a milestone that the Muresk Old Collegians Association is keen to promote and see celebrated by those who have formed part of the 90 years of Muresk history, development and attainments. This includes Muresk students, graduates and staff from across the decades, along with those who will be charged with leading our food and agribusiness industries into the future.
