DNA is the best-selling print publication for the LGBTQIA+ community in Australia. Every month, you’ll find news features, celebrity profiles, pop culture reviews and sensational photography of some of the world’s sexiest models in our fashion stories.
DNA was launched in Australia in 2000 by Founding Editor, Andrew Creagh, and is available in Print worldwide in bookstores throughout Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe and Taiwan, and in Digital format through the DNA app, DNA website, Pocketmags and Amazon Kindle.
WHAT DOES DNA MEAN?
Many people ask why DNA is called DNA, and if it has anything to do with deoxyribonucleic acid? The answer is yes. Back in 2000, when we were launching the print magazine, scientists were still mapping the human genome and there was talk of the possibility of finding the so-called “gay gene”. We decided DNA was a great title for an LGBTQIA+ magazine because being queer is natural; it’s in your genetic makeup.
