There are numerous issues and risks associated with SMSF contributions, including in-specie contributions. Furthermore, as legislation and ATO guidance continues to change in this area it is essential auditors remain up to date.
This session will discuss key requirements and changes relating to superannuation contributions as well as take auditors through the planning, testing and reporting process to assist auditors in reducing the time taken to audit contributions.

About the Presenter – Ashley Course
Ashley is the Director of ARC Super, which specialises in the provision of SMSF audit, technical and training services. Ashley has extensive experience designing and developing audit software and programs and for the last nine years has trained and developed audit content for the professional accounting bodies and software providers. Ashley’s most recent experience includes being part of ASIC’s SMSF Competency Exam Committee, Treasury’s Stronger Super Committee and the ATO’s Approved Auditor Committee.
