What are the Show opening times?
9.30am to 5pm each day (Please note the show opens 30 minutes earlier than last year).
Where is the venue?
The Hordern Pavilion and Royal Hall of Industries in Moore Park. Corner of Driver Avenue and Lang Road with the main entry on Errol Flynn Boulevard.
Can I bring my Dog to the show?
We love ALL dogs and there will be hundreds of beautiful K9’s at the show for you to meet and connect with. But to protect the safety of Dogs and humans, visitors are unable to bring their own Dogs into the Show. Click here to view the reasons behind this important policy. Where can I park?
There is loads of affordable public car parking in the multi-level car park opposite the Royal Hall of Industries – just enter from Lang Road (off Anzac Parade) and the car park entry is on Errol Flynn Boulevard. You can also park in Centennial Park on Lang Road opposite the venue plus there is other street parking in the precinct.

Can I come on any day with my ticket?
When you buy your ticket you will need to select which day you will attend the Show. Tickets are only valid for the day you select when purchased so additional tickets are required if you would like to attend on both days.
Are Assistance Dogs able to enter the Show/Venue?
Yes, visitors with accredited Assistance Dogs are able to bring their dogs into the Show however they will need to show verification at the door.
Do you accept Companion Cards?
We accept accredited Companion Cards for carers who do not need to pay for a ticket upon presentation of their card, but the person in their care will still need to purchase a ticket. Please note that Seniors discount is not available.
Are their ATM’s in the venue and will Exhibitors accept credit cards and EFTPOS?
An ATM machine is located within the Royal Hall of Industries and inside the entry to the Hordern Pavilion. Most exhibitors will also offer EFT and credit card payment. So it’s a great place to stock up on all the gear you need for your pooch for the next 12 months!
Are there any additional costs once I’m inside the show?
All the entertainment, education, information and attractions are free upon entry so it’s a great value day out! Even the face-painting and Doggy LEGO® is free! So you just need to cover your food & drinks and we have lots of Sydney’s best Food Trucks at the event with a wide variety of yummy grub! You can even kick back and watch the live broadcast of the RIO Olympics on Channel Seven’s Giant Screens in the forecourt!
Can I buy products & services for my Dog at the Show and will there be any new products or show specials available?
Absolutely! It’s like a huge Doggy Supermarket with around 200 Exhibitors selling and launching an extensive range of fantastic New Products and Services with Show Specials and great offers exclusive to the Dog Lovers Show. So bring your wallet as you can see, compare and buy all the latest and greatest toys, treats, accessories, food, insurance and services to reward your Pooch when you get home!
Can we purchase a Dog at the show?
We are governed by the NSW Domestic Animals Act, which states that under no circumstances are we permitted to have any Dog adopted and/or sold at the event. However all the information will be on hand to ensure you are very well informed on all the best options and you can certainly start the process with Breed Clubs and Rescue Groups.

This year’s Kong Celebrity Vet Stage will provide expert tips for a healthier, happier Dog with talks from your favourite vets - Dr Chris Brown, Dr Katrina Warren and the Village Vets Dr Anthony Bennett and Dr James Carroll. Visitors will take home reliable advice on training, behaviour and preventative healthcare. You can also learn about K9 film/TV stars with Celebrity Dog Trainer Peta Clarke, with daily KONG prizes to be won!
DOGS NSW will present the biggest Breed Showcase to date, giving visitors the chance to meet, greet, learn about and snap selfies with over 30 different breeds. The Perfect Match feature will also help visitors find the most suitable Dog breeds for them and their lifestyle with a wide range of informational posters. The new Bow Wow Meow Breed Selector questionnaire offers tailored recommendations on Dog compatibility too.
Meeting, patting and connecting with dogs is a smile-inducing, endorphin-releasing activity for kids and adults alike - so be sure to visit the CANIDAE Rescue Dog Zone and Pat-A-Pooch for education on Dog adoption and for lots of cuddles!
