Explore your creativity in this hands-on two day jewellery workshop series over the weekend of 13-14 September. Learn the skills you need to create your own range of designer jewellery pieces.
Saturday 13 September 10am - 5:00pm and Sunday 14 September 10am-5pm, followed by showcase soiree and drinks.
During this workshop, participants will build their skills and design and make two jewellery pieces from 100% recycled sterling silver:
+ A sterling silver pendant
+ A sterling silver ring
Cost: $300 including sliver materials and booking fee*
Participants will learn professional jewellery making skills including:
+ Use of professional trade tools: jewellery saw, jewellery files and emery paper.
+ The complex process of jewellery silver soldering.
+ Conceptual jewellery design skills.
Places are limited to 12 participants per workshop so book early!

What is the refund policy? Cancellations will incur a $70 cancellation fee. Refunds will not be permitted later than seven days before the event.
What's the plan for lunch? There will be a 20 minute morning tea break and a 40 minute lunch break. We recommend you take a wander to one of the nearby cafes - Bourke St Bakery, Double Roasters or Tea, Coffee and Me or BYO lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Carl Noonan Jewellery
Carl Noonan’s experience as both conceptual jewellery designer and qualified High School Visual Arts Teacher positions him with the unique ability to draw extraordinary jewellery pieces from his students.
In addition to his classroom experience at Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design, Carl is a guest workshop presenter with the Powerhouse Discovery Centre’s school holiday program. He is also a practicing artist, designing and selling his own conceptual jewellery objects.
Carl has the capacity to facilitate a positive and fun working environment while connecting workshop participants to trade jewellery techniques and artist’s process. The results surprise and delight.
