Ready.Set.Race

Get ready for School Swimming Carnivals with our Ready.Set.Race meet and skills session for children aged 7 to 12 years.

Children must be able to swim at least 25m Freestyle and 25m Backstroke and/or Breaststroke.

It is a great morning for kids looking to have fun and get some racing practice for their school swimming carnival.

The morning consists of:

• up to 3 Individual races
• Relay races
• 30 minute skills session with our qualified coaches
• prizes and giveaways

Is there an age limit to enter the event?

Yes 7-12 years who can swim at least 25m Freestyle and 25m Backstroke and/or 25m Breaststroke.

Do I have to pay pool entry?

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Merrylands Swimming Centre has free parking for 200 cars.

What do I bring to the event?

Swimming Costumes, Goggles, Towel, Sunscreen, Warm Clothes

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds will not be provided. The event will go ahead in all weather. Refunds will not be provided for children who register that do not meet the age or skill requirements as detailed above. If for some reason the event cannot go ahead, it will be postponed until a later date.
