OLTsymposium at USC 2014

Action Learning Project:Enhancing Understanding of Domestic and International Students Interactions.  

When: Friday the 25th of July 2014 from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm.

Where: Innovation Centre, University of the Sunshine Coast.  Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided.  

This symposium / workshop aims to support the growth of knowledge through participative action learning and reflective processes; and to foster a community of learners who are keen to support the growth of supportive environments for interaction not only within the classroom but within the regional communities.

The Key Note Speaker will be Professor James Arvanitakis from the University of Western Sydney who is the winner of The Prime Minister’s University Teach of the Year Award 2012 who holds a special interest in multi-cultural teaching. Other presenters Associate Professor Arkoudis & Dr. Shanton Chang from the University of Melbourne, Dr. Craig Whitsed of Murdoch University and Dr. Grace Li, of the University of Technology Sydney.

Maximum 50 places. Staff from USC and other Universities welcome,
