REBECCA KING, TRAINER, COACH & MARKETING STRATEGIST
Rebecca is a multi-award winning tourism marketing consultant who has worked in small business, State Government, the airline industry, media and now as a Director of her own national tourism marketing consultancy Kingthing. Rebecca is a leader in Australia’s tourism industry in online marketing. She is nationally renowned with developers, tourism organisations and existing businesses alike to offer sound, innovative business advice backed by 20 years in marketing and the tourism industry.
Rebecca helped design and implement Tourism Tasmania’s and Tourism Queensland’s Digital Coach program, she presents Digital Marketing workshops for various organisations, is an accredited e-Kit trainer and develops tutorials for the ATDW e-Kit. Organisations actively seek Rebecca’s marketing advice largely due to her hard-won success as a tourism operator.
In the 5 years Rebecca held the position of Marketing Manager at Tamar River Cruises the company won 9 awards including Tasmanian Tourism Awards and the Telstra Business award for Innovation. Her managerial style, strategic business planning skills and proven track record for unprecedented growth lead Rebecca to be awarded the 2006 Telstra Tasmanian Corporate Business Woman of the Year.
