Join the Waterways Ranger to Learn by Observing Nature. Discover native plants home to Herring Island and learn about caring for the Yarra River with a short boat ride.

This activity is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by one, and only one, parent or guardian.

Please meet at Como Landing, Alexandra Avenue, South Yarra VIC 3141 (Next to Kanteen Cafe). The activity involves a short boat trip to Herring Island, everyone must wear closed shoes (absolutely no thongs).

Please bring a hat, water, sunscreen and good attitude.

Note: For boat capacity, only one adult to accompany a registered Junior Ranger. No unregistered accompanying siblings. Prams and wheelchairs are not suitable on this activity.
