EFR Instructor Trainer - Kenting

EFR Instructor Trainer course

The EFR IT - Kenting programme will be conducted in both Chinese and English. EFR IT Online is only available in English. If you select the Online option, upon registration you will receive information on how to access the online portion of the programme which must be completed prior to attending the practical skills training and assessment portion of the programme. The practical session will be held in the afternoon on 30 November. The Chinese language option is a full day programme including both theory in the morning and the practical session in the afternoon.

Demand continues to grow for EFR Instructors, particularly with the OWSI requirement. The EFR Instructor Trainer rating is also a pre-requisite for CDTC applicants, so if you plan to apply for one of our 2016 CDTC programmes in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia or Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and do not have your EFR Trainer rating yet, this is the perfect opportunity for you to do so.

To attend the standard EFR Instructor Trainer Course you must:

• Be a current EFR Primary & Secondary Care and Care for Children Instructor.
• Have issued 25 EFR Course Completion Authorisations or taught at least 5 separate EFR courses.
• Have no verified quality assurance issues on file within the past 12 months.

EFR Instructor Trainer Refresher programme

The EFR Instructor Trainer Refresher programme is designed for existing EFR Instructor Trainers who would like to update and refresh their EFR Trainer skills. The refresher programme will involve completing EFR IT Online and then attending a Practical session. The only pre-requisite for the Refresher is to be a renewed EFR Instructor Trainer. Please note that there are no EFR materials included in the Refresher programme.
