You are invited to the first Inspirational Leaders Seminar of 2015 to be presented by Rabia Siddique.

Rabia is a Perth born criminal and human rights lawyer, a retired British Army officer, a former terrorism and war crimes prosecutor, a humanitarian, professional speaker, facilitator, coach and published author. In 2006 Rabia was awarded a Queen’s commendation for her human rights work in Iraq, in 2009 was the Runner Up for Australian Woman of the Year UK and in 2014 was selected as a Telstra Business Woman of the Year Finalist and was named as one of the Australian Financial Review and Westpac’s Top 100 Women of Influence.

Rabia’s best-selling memoir “Equal Justice” was published last year and is currently in its fourth reprint. She has appeared in various Australian, UK, South East Asian and Middle Eastern media and print publications and has appeared as a guest at several Australian Writers Festivals.

Rabia is committed to giving back and serving her community and profession. To that end she is a Board Member of Kids Are Kids! Therapy and Education Centre Inc and an Ambassador for the 100 Women Project, Esther Foundation and Ishar Multicultural Women’s Health Centre. She is also a member of Australian and British Red Cross, UN Women National Committee, Law Societies of WA, England and Wales, Women Lawyers WA, the International Institute for Humanitarian Law and is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.

Rabia will share her unique story to demonstrate the need for strong role models, agents of change and courageous people to take a stand. To defend and uphold the values everyone should all hold dear - equality, fairness, justice & truth.

Refreshments will be served from 6.15pm and the talk will begin at 7pm.
