Crystal Singing Bowls Meditation with Jenny Craddy
These classes are different from any meditation class you will ever experience. In these sessions you get to lie down and just immerse yourself in the sounds of a fullchakra set of quartz crystal singing bowls. The pure tones of the bowls massage the body at a cellular level, which in turn can improve your circulation, metabolism, endocrine system, chakras and alignment with your higher self. The singing bowls have the power to bring you into harmony and out of a state of dis-ease.
The bowls produce a pure sine wave form that carries through physical objects including the human body. Sound and its vibration penetrates every cell in the body oscillating and resonating with the cells causing them to re-balance. The effect of the sound is like a ripple in a pond and the cells start harmonising with the sound wave and each other.
According to French doctor Alfred Tomatis, sound is to the nervous system what food is to the physical body. So come to one of these classes and feed your nervous system.

Frequently Asked Questions/Terms and Conditions
Q. How do I qualify for a discounted ticket?
For some Academy events there is an Early Bird discount. You also qualify for a reduced price ticket if you are a current student at the Academy. This means that you are currently enrolled for a course at the Academy and you still have classes to attend - so if you've completed your course and we're just waiting for your assignments, then you're no longer a current student. If you have paid a deposit for a course that's not yet started, then you are a current student. Please check your eligibility carefully, because we will, and if you've chosen the wrong type of ticket then you won't be allowed to attend (because you haven't got a valid ticket) and you won't get a refund (because you've taken up a place that someone else could have had). If you're in any doubt, it's a really good idea to email firstname.lastname@example.org and check.
You also qualify for a discounted ticket if last year you were a fully-paid up Member of the Academy in 2012. Again, do be sure that you qualify - and drop us an email if you're in doubt. Otherwise same thing might happen: no entry and no refund.
Q. Do I have to be a practising hypnotherapist to attend?
Not at all. If you like the sound of a presentation, you're very welcome to attend. However, do be aware that many of our presentations are technical in nature, are focused on hypnotherapy and assume a good working knowledge of hypnotherapy concepts such as induction, deepening, ideomotor signal and so on. We won't issue a refund if you find you didn't follow what was going on because you're not a hypnotherapist or student of hypnotherapy.
Q. Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There certainly are: to attend any Academy event you must be 18 or over. There are no exceptions, and we cannot let anyone in under 18. We don't have facilities for looking after children.

Q. Is my registration/ticket transferable?
Yes. So long as a place has been paid for, we don't mind who attends. You don't need to give us advance notice.
Q. Can I get a refund if the presentation is not up to scratch?
Yes! If you feel that the quality of the presentation was not high enough, please email firstname.lastname@example.org within seven days of the event and put your complaint in writing. We'll take a view, and will also refer to our feedback from that event (we always solicit feedback after our events). If we agree that the presentation was of poor quality then we'll refund the cost of your ticket. However, before you buy your ticket you should be aware that many of our presentations are short (two hour) introductions to programs or techniques that require substanially greater time to master. Oh, and one other thing: if you're allergic to being told about opportunities for further study, please stay away. Many of our presenters are excited about what they're doing and want to tell you about how you can join in. If that gives you an attack of the vapours, you're probably better off at home with a mug of Ovaltine and a good book. To be a busy hypnotherapist and therefore help a lot of people you need to know how to get clients, and that means selling. So rather than getting the hump, you should learn from them what selling looks like. Anyway, that's our view and if it's not yours, then these events are probably not for you.
Q. What is the refund policy?
If you let us know in advance (up to 48 hours before the event) we can issue a refund. If you don't turn up, you've still taken up a place so unfortunately we can't issue a refund or credit and you've done your dough.
Q. The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No - not even if the presenter says it's OK. The reason for this is that at the Academy we often have demonstrations of therapy involving real people with real issues. While we absolutely trust you and know that you wouldn't allow such a recording to go any further, unfortunately we can't guarantee that everyone will be as responsible. So it's best that we make a blanket rule. We hope you understand!
