CFA Bushfire Planning Workshop

This half day workshop is ideal for tourism operators wanting to learn more about preparing their business, staff and visitors in the event of a bushfire. The content is tailored specifically for tourism attractions or accommodation businesses. The workshops are conducted by trained CFA facilitators have first-hand knowledge of the issues that are faced by businesses in this region.

Whether you’ve got a bushfire survival plan already or are yet to make a start, these small group workshops will help you put together a simple Bushfire Ready plan that ticks all the right boxes. In a small group setting you’ll work through your Plan step-by-step, with guidance from the CFA. The CFA Fire Safety Specialists use maps and other visual tools to explain how a fire might impact your property and how you can use this and other local knowledge to be better prepared for a range of scenarios.

Working alongside others gives you the chance to share ideas, while benefiting from the specialist advice of CFA.

Tourism operators will walk away from this Workshop with their own Bushfire Plan that can be put into practice. Attendees will also receive a take home Bush Fire Ready Kit.
