On Phototourism’s Two Day Great Ocean Road Photographic Workshop we will be travelling from the pickup location in Melbourne to Sorrento. From there we will travel by ferry across the entrance of Port Phillip Bay to the historic township of Queenscliff.
This scenic coastal route is not just a drive; it's a canvas of awe-inspiring landscapes, dramatic cliffs, and pristine beaches, perfect for capturing stunning images. Learn the art of composition, lighting, and storytelling as you explore iconic landmarks along the Shipwreck Coars, like the incredible Twelve Apostles.
We will stop along the way to photograph towering lighthouses, Red Wood Forest, waterfalls glorious beaches and a rugged coastline sculptured by powerful raging surf.
After a pleasant evening dining at an iconic restaurant in Port Campbell overlooking the picturesque port, you will stay in comfortable accommodation within the quaint township of Port Campbell. There will also be an opportunity to cover some of the finer aspects of Photoshop.
Early the next morning we will get the opportunity to capture the Twelve Apostles in the early morning light. This is very often a spectacular photographic opportunity depending on the environmental conditions at the time.
From there we will enjoy a well-earned breakfast before returning back to Melbourne in the evening of the following day stopping along the way to capture more image.
