This webinar with Arnela Tolic will delve into the complexities of property division in family law cases, emphasising how mediation can help parties reach fair and equitable agreements. Topics will include the legal framework for property division, common challenges and disputes that arise, and strategies for effectively mediating property matters. Additionally, the webinar will explore various factors influencing property division, such as asset valuation, financial and non-financial contributions (e.g., stay-at-home parenting), and the future needs of the parties and any children involved. Practical tips for preparing for property mediation sessions, managing emotions, and communicating effectively will also be covered. Participants will gain insights with case studies or scenarios illustrating key concepts and approaches in family law property mediation.
