Spokane YFC

Spokane YFC (SYFC) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization committed to the growth and development of Spokane’s youth in the most underserved areas of the city. By fostering a relational and supportive environment, SYFC helps young people build a solid foundation of faith, resilience, and strong character through various activities and programs. SYFC engages in the stories of these young people and empower them to change their own community.

SYFC addresses multiple aspects of youth development. One of our core offerings is the mentorship program, where experienced mentors provide support to help youths set and achieve their personal and academic goals. Additionally, the SYFC hosts various events and activities, including after-school programs, outdoor experiences, which create safe spaces for youths to engage in recreational and educational activities, and prioritizes their physical health and wellbeing. We partner with schools, local businesses, and organizations to offer discussions on topics such as leadership, career planning, finance, and mental health awareness, ensuring that youths are equipped to face the future with confidence and hope. In the past 6 months we’ve been blessed to provide 10,000 lbs of food to kids, and their families, dealing with food insecurities.
