As an experienced Managing Director and Registered Building Practitioner, Ryan brings 25 years of broad, first-hand experience from diverse areas of the Construction & Home Improvement industries. His unique path in the construction industry encompasses managing many large, respected companies that deliver custom, high end and luxury new projects, volume builder management, architectural extensions & renovations, Home Improvement Products and Training to the Building Industry.

Ryan is known for saying, “I am not your average builder” and his career bears testament to that.

Having spent many years mastering small to medium business, Ryan’s unique Business Coaching and training qualifications opened many doors to step into consult and grow much larger companies and teams. Over the years, Ryan has had the benefit of driving growth and leading companies such as, Nu-Steel Homes, Aloha Pools Group, Independent Builders Network and Australian Outdoor Living, along with consulting to many more well-known brands.

Having sat on the board of 2 large, national companies within the Australian Building Industry and over his 25-year career, holding senior executive and management roles in a number of large and award-winning organizations Roles including but not limited to:

• CEO

• National Business Manager

• General Manager

• Construction & Operations Manager

• Business Trainer

Currently, Ryan owns a building company named Mode Group, made up of a team of 35 people that operates with the Management team, allowing him to focus on his passion of helping other business owners master their potential and create a business by Design, not chance. Working with clients through Group Coaching, Live Events and One on One service, allows for ongoing mentoring to support their growth.

Holding a Building Practitioners Unlimited license and Kitchen & Bathroom Design Certification (KBDI), Ryan is also a:

• NLP Practitioner

• E-DISC Behavioral Profiler.

These skills have allowed Ryan to mentor and support many Business Owners, while also consulting to the industry.

Today, Ryan spends time mentoring and coaching clients within the construction and trade industry. Sits on an advisory committee within Housing Industry Association (HIA) of Victoria, proudly holds the role of Head Judge of the famous HIA Housing Awards & HIA Kitchen & Bathroom Awards, Vic. Ryan also is on the Management Committee of the Kitchen & Bathroom Designers Institute (KBDI) and is also a Director of The Big S’cool Walk, a charity that raised funds to support children and education in the Philippines.
