Holy Wisdom Monastery, located in Middleton, WI, and overlooking Lake Mendota, is a non-denominational spirituality center and Benedictine monastery.

Regular themes for events include social justice, care for the earth, environmental education, outdoor workdays, spiritual classes and education, retreats and much more.

The monastery’s main building was awarded the highest rating in the US for environmental and energy conservation design in 2010 and is still one of the highest rated eco-designed buildings in the United States. The campus, situated on 130 acres of restored prairie and woods, includes a lake, nature trails and two buildings used by groups for meeting and event space, overnight accommodations and meals.

The Monastery is home to an ecumenical women’s religious community, Sunday worshipping community and more.
