Ensomble
ENSOMBLE is rooted in sound - bringing together instruments, practices, and ways of understanding in a way that feels natural, gentle, and whole.
Sound has always been part of how we make sense of the world, and modern science is now catching up to what ancient traditions have taught for centuries: everything vibrates, everything is energy. Sound can shift how we feel, how we relate to ourselves, and how we experience our place in the world. For me, it all begins with learning to really listen - softly, openly, without expectation. When we listen that way, something in us remembers how to come back into relationship with nature, with others, and with ourselves.
My own journey began as a classically trained pianist. I taught music for twenty years before feeling a pull toward the more therapeutic and healing side of sound. Since then, I’ve trained with teachers and schools that have shaped me deeply: the British Academy of Sound Therapy, the College of Sound Healing under Sheila Whittaker, further advanced work with maestra Yin Xiong in South Africa, Gong Meditation with Yogi Mehtab Benton in the USA, and Qi Gong techniques with Mantak Chia in Thailand. I now work with individuals and small groups from my studio in Crouch End, North London, and I love collaborating with musicians and practitioners from other healing traditions. I’m especially passionate about bringing sound therapy into schools, where its benefits can make a real difference.
Alongside my sound work, I began studying Life Alignment in 2020 and spent several years moving through training and extensive case studies before qualifying as a practitioner in early 2025. I’m now continuing into advanced studies, learning new techniques that allow the work to go deeper and support transformational change in a safe, grounded way.
ENSOMBLE continues to grow from this blend of sound, intuition, learning, and a genuine desire to help people reconnect with themselves. It is a practice built on curiosity, compassion, and the belief that healing happens one gentle layer at a time.
