Blakworks

My name is Lindsay Stanford. I’m the Founder and Principal of Blakworks, an Aboriginal employment and workplace specialist. I started Blakworks in 2008 to help Australian employers improve their understanding of Aboriginal employment and create safer, more respectful workplaces.

I’ve been supporting employers in this space since the 1990s—across small, medium, and large organisations, employment service providers, and Aboriginal employment consultancies throughout NSW and the ACT.

I know many Australians want to do better—and need to do better—when it comes to providing real opportunities for Aboriginal people. Just as importantly, I believe they can do better. With the right support and a practical approach, Aboriginal employment can work for everyone.
