Project Esperanza

Project Esperanza

A Womanist initiative dedicated to bringing race and faith sensitive specialist services & culturally appropriate support to women of African heritage in Edinburgh.

We address social isolation, migration trauma and racial trauma, through offering culturally appropriate race sensitive, faith sensitive and trauma informed, stigma free support and services as well as mental health and well-being support through coaching and mentoring. We have a trusted network of partners who understand the needs of the people we serve and have a human rights-based approach to working with people.
