Vielmetter Los Angeles was established in 2000 with a focus to present work by artists from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds, many of whom are engaged in a rigorously conceptual practice. The gallery's program is international in scope and aims to reflect gender parity. In 2019, the gallery relocated from Culver City to a 34,000 square foot space in downtown Los Angeles.
