NYPL Center for Educators and Schools

NYPL Center for Educators and Schools

The Center for Educators and Schools connects teachers, students, and school communities with the vast collections, expertise, and cultural resources of The New York Public Library. We design and host professional learning experiences, educator residencies, workshops, institutes, and public programs that support teaching and learning across subjects and grade levels. Our events bring educators into direct conversation with scholars, artists, curators, and primary sources to explore history, literature, arts, and civic life. Through collaborative, inquiry-based programming, we aim to strengthen classroom practice, expand access to cultural knowledge, and support educators as leaders and creators in their communities.
