Association for the Promotion of International Law

The Association for the Promotion of International Law (APIL) is an Australian-based non-governmental organisation dedicated to the promotion and protection of the principles of international law.

APIL draws public, governmental and media attention to Australia’s legal obligations under international law, working with federal, state and territory parliamentarians, relevant staffers and parliamentary journalists, senior public servants and members of the public on the international law governing occupation, armed conflict, self-determination and human rights.
