First Nations Women's Collective
The First Nations Women’s Collective (FNWC) is a collaborative international initiative that brings First Nations women from different communities together to share knowledge, culture and stories of resilience from across the oceans. Formed in 2024, FNWC creates cultural spaces for women from First Nations communities to come together to learn and share our traditional ways, network with each other and build resilient communities. As a group created in solidarity and understanding of our First Nations knowledge streams, FNWC understands the significance of Cultural Wishdom Holders and their role in keeping alive our oral, spiritual, environmental and ceremonial traditions.
This is a first of its kind initiative of cultural exchange and resilience building. This is a community of support and gathering of like minded First Nations women. We facilitate cultural spaces of truth telling and cultural experiences of First Nation women and communities impacted by climate, geopolitical, justice and social instabilities.
By creating a space were First Nations women can gather, share their stories, experiences and cultural wisdom, we are helping each other preserve global cultural narratives and traditions that are quietly disapearing amidst global uncertainty.
We invite all women and men from across the oceans to support our initiative, LIKE and SHARE our page to help it grow. Your support means First Nations voices are heard, our cultural ways and traditions preserved.
